Schedule: Every other weekend required

Job Description

Seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient-centered care in a fast-paced emergency department. The RN will manage adult and pediatric patients presenting with a wide range of acute illnesses and injuries requiring rapid assessment critical thinking and collaboration with an interdisciplinary healthcare team.

Requirements

Minimum 1 year of Emergency Room nursing experience
First-time travelers accepted
Active RN license (pending licenses not accepted)
Epic EMR experience required

Required Certifications

BLS (Basic Life Support)
ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale)

Required Skills & Competencies

General Emergency Department care (Adult & Pediatric)
Cardiac monitoring and emergency response
Interpretation and management of dysrhythmias
Management of multisystem organ dysfunction and failure
Blood product administration
Central line care and management
Phlebotomy and IV initiation
