As an Interior Designer II youll play a key role in shaping and advancing our hospitality portfolio. Working under the guidance of senior designers and project managers youll support the design and execution of interior environments across a range of high-profile projects.

General Characteristics and Responsibilities

Assist in the development of compelling design concepts that reflect client vision and brand identity
Prepare presentations drawings and specifications to communicate design intent
Collaborate with vendors consultants and contractors to support project delivery
Apply foundational knowledge of design principles materials and building codes to ensure quality and compliance
Contribute to a culture of innovation helping define new ways of thinking and elevating design standards
Programming space planning design of spaces and finishes FF&E selection documentation editing specifications producing deliverable drawing sets for finish plans interior elevations room finish schedules furniture plans and interior details.
Independently performs modeling and detailing or documentation.
Independently perform cross-discipline discussions and coordination with multidisciplinary teammates.
Conduct site investigations and observations related to existing building assessments/investigations client meetings or construction jobsite observations
Prepare narratives design presentations boards drawing and specification documents in accordance with a high degree of quality working within project schedule and budget constraints.
Assisting with marketing /business development activities.
Attend client and internal meetings. Conduct presentations.
Performs other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

Required Education & Experience

Bachelors Degree from Accredited Program Interior Design and/or Architecture Program or equivalent experience required.
3 - 5 years of experience in Interior Design. Luxury design experience inclusive of Hotels Resort F&B and Spa a plus.
Must have a natural eye for innovation and detail.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects at various stages of design or execution.
Demonstrated ability to navigate complex organizations and build consensus on large initiatives.
Must be proficient in Revit AutoCAD Adobe Creative Suite Microsoft Programs and 3-D model software.

Preferred Education & Experience

Masters degree in interior design or architecture
NCDIQ certification
Proficiency with computer software including AutoCAD Revit Sketch-Up Rhino Grasshopper and Adobe Creative Suite
Good communication and presentation skills

Salary range for this position varies between $70000 $100000 depending upon applicable experience.
