Were looking for an Application Production Support Engineer to join a high-performing team dedicated to ensuring stability reliability and continuous improvement of critical Banking and Financing Services applications. You will provide Level 1 and Level 2 support for data-driven systems with a strong focus on ETL and Oracle-based applications.
This is a hands-on analytical role ideal for professionals who thrive in fast-paced production environments manage incident resolution efficiently and continuously seek ways to optimize performance and service quality.
Deliver technical support for both in-house and third-party applications hosted internally.
Manage incidents crisis calls and communications ensuring resolution within established SLAs.
Monitor application status server infrastructure and system performance.
Handle incoming tickets and phone calls documenting and prioritizing requests effectively.
Conduct root cause analysis implement tactical solutions and ensure long-term stability.
Collaborate closely with other IT teams to maintain a seamless production environment.
Guarantee on-call availability during weekends or off-hours for urgent or extraordinary activities.
Act as a first point of contact for production-related inquiries and support requests.
Contribute to defining non-functional requirements for new applications before deployment.
Participate in automation initiatives to streamline support operations and reduce manual interventions.
Red Hat Linux expertise and solid IT infrastructure knowledge.
Experience with Application Performance Monitoring tools (preferably Dynatrace).
Hands-on experience with Kubernetes cloud-managed services (AWS Azure or IBM Cloud) and middleware (VIP WAF RDBMS NoSQL File Storage).
Database experience with Oracle Exadata.
Knowledge of ETL processes (especially IBM DataStage).
Familiarity with Continuous Delivery automation deployments and rollbacks.
