The role:

We are seeking passionate and qualified Certificate III Education and Care Practitioners to join our teams in Acton (Cambridge) and Midway Point.

• Education and Care Practitioner role Level 2A on our Enterprise Agreement
• Casual and Permanent Part Time roles
• Long Day Care Services

In this role you will be part of a supportive and collaborative team delivering high-quality play-based programs aligned with the National Quality Framework (NQF) and Education and Care Services National Law and Regulations.

In this role you will:

• Uphold the safety rights and wellbeing of all children and promote a culture of child safety with a zero-tolerance approach to child maltreatment abuse and neglect.
• Deliver meaningful and age-appropriate learning experiences that spark curiosity creativity and growth.
• Actively supervise children at all times to ensure their safety and wellbeing.
• Create welcoming engaging and developmentally appropriate environments that encourage exploration and play.
• Document and reflect on childrens learning and development.
• Collaborate with families to build strong respectful partnerships that support continuity between home and the service.
• Commit to ongoing professional growth and reflective practice.
• Work in alignment with Lady Gowrie Tasmanias policies procedures and quality standards.

What youll bring:

• An ACECQA-approved Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care
• A current Tasmanian Registration for Working with Vulnerable People (child-related activity childcare services)
• Previous experience in a similar role and dedication to child safety and inclusive practices
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team.
• Understanding of the National Quality Framework and willingness to apply the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) in everyday practice.
