About the role
Were looking for a skilled and experienced BMS engineer to join our BeMS Optimisation division. As Senior Optimisation Engineer responsibilities will include delivering Optimisation PPM and Reactive service works for our clients across all sectors with a focus on energy efficiency solutions that contribute positively to decarbonisation. Working closely with our clients on site as well as our inhouse support teams you are one of our primary means of delivering a positive impact for our clients spanning energy carbon and maintenance savings.

If you choose to take an electric company car following your probation period you will have the ability to choose from available options within our company criteria examples include VW ID7 and Polestar 2 or 3 models (subject to availability).
Our contractual hours are 37.5 hours a week (Monday to Friday) however due to the nature of the work and client requirements there may need to be on call or complete overtime and pay for this is always provided as detailed.

- Overtime rates of 1.5 or 2 x hourly rate depending on the day and time of overtime performed if applicable
- Working away payment of 3.75 hours per night if you are asked and agree to stay overnight to complete client works
- On-call payment of 35 a day for time spent on call outside of working hours

Requirements
- CSCS Gold card or ECS card essential
- Qualified in Electrical or Electronic Engineering (to HNC/ONC or equivalent)
- At least 5 years of BMS commissioning and systems experience.
- Qualified or experience with Cylon Trend and/or Tridium systems
- Understanding of service fault finding and small project delivery techniques
- Ability to work as a team with a positive and resilient approach to dealing with clients and suppliers.
- Ability to find solutions to complex problems.
- Thorough appreciation of site operations and procedures in line with client / stakeholders
- An open and approachable manner backed up by high moral and ethical standards
- Proactive attitude with a purpose driven mindset that brings drive energy and passion to the role
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships both digitally and in person
- Accountability to yourself and others
- High attention to detail
- Full UK drivers license
