Manufacturing Engineer Manufacturing

Location:Bournemouth

Were working with a well-established manufacturing company based in Bournemouth who are looking to recruit an experiencedManufacturing Engineerto join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on process-driven individual to play a key role in improving production efficiency product quality and manufacturing capability.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and optimise manufacturing processes to improve productivity quality and cost-effectiveness.
Support new product introduction (NPI) from concept through to production.
Identify and implement process improvements tooling solutions and layout changes.
Work closely with design quality and production teams to resolve technical and production issues.
Create and maintain process documentation standard operating procedures and work instructions.
Lead or support continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives.
Provide technical support and training to production staff.

Key Requirements:

Proven experience as a Manufacturing Engineer within a production or engineering environment.
Strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
Experience in process design tooling and production layout.
Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Degree or HNC/HND in Mechanical Manufacturing or Production Engineering (or equivalent)
