Safely operate a range of airside vehicles (including HGVs trucks and buses) to transport cargo equipment and supplies between warehouse facilities and aircraft.
Conduct pre- and post-vehicle inspections and ensure all defects are reported promptly.
Ensure all loads are correctly secured and compliant with airside and aviation safety regulations.
Maintain accurate records of goods movement delivery times and fuel usage as required.
Communicate effectively with warehouse ramp and airside control teams to coordinate movements efficiently.
Comply with all CAA airport authority and company airside driving regulations.
Adhere to strict security and safety standards at all times.
Assist with loading/unloading as required and support other ground operations when needed.
Requirements
Must hold one of the following valid driving licences:
Minimum 2 years of professional driving experience in the relevant category.
Excellent awareness of vehicle safety load securing and general driving standards.
Ability to work in a fast-paced safety-critical airside environment.
Benefits
- Standard pay rate is 12.21 per hour for both days and nights after 12 weeks pay rate is 14/hour and overtime will be paid at 17 per hour
- Standard pay rate 14.37 per hour Overtime pay rate (over 37.5 hours in a week) Monday- Friday overtime 21.55 and Saturday and Sunday overtime 28.74 per hour
- 4 on 2 off shift pattern mixture of earlies and late shifts
- Opportunity to work within a well-organised warehouse team
- Ongoing support from the Elliot Scott Group recruitment team
Required Skills:
Must hold one of the following valid driving licences: HGV Class 2 / Category C / Cat C Licence (over 18 tonnes) PCV / Bus / Coach Licence (D Category) 7.5 Tonne (C1) Licence Minimum 2 years of professional driving experience in the relevant category.
