Job Summary
We are partnering with a well-established international financial institution to recruit an HR Risk and Governance Manager for their growing Warsaw office. The organization is recognized for its resilience innovation and commitment to operational excellence. Their Warsaw hub plays a strategic role in supporting global HR operations and fosters a culture of collaboration transparency and continuous improvement.
As HR Risk and Governance Manager you will be responsible for developing implementing and maintaining risk management and governance frameworks within the HR function. This is a strategic role that combines compliance expertise with process improvement and stakeholder engagement.
Key responsibilities include:
- Designing and monitoring HR risk management frameworks policies and procedures.
- Conducting regular risk assessments to identify and mitigate HR-related risks.
- Leading governance initiatives to ensure HR processes align with corporate policies and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborating with HR legal compliance and business leaders to address risk issues and implement robust controls.
- Developing and delivering training on HR risk and governance topics.
- Monitoring changes in employment legislation and advising stakeholders on implications.
- Preparing reports on HR risk and governance activities for senior management.
- Overseeing HR information management including employee handbooks and digital resources.
The ideal candidate will bring:
- Bachelors degree in HR Business Administration Risk Management or related field (Masters preferred).
- 5 years of experience in HR risk management governance or compliance.
- Strong knowledge of employment law and HR operations.
- Experience developing and implementing policies and controls.
- Excellent analytical problem-solving and communication skills.
- Professional certifications (e.g. SHRM HRCI) are a plus.
