Job Description:
The Director Marketing Effectiveness will lead the evolution of measurement for a key Carat client. You will own the development and integration of advanced measurement frameworks from marketing mix modeling to ongoing attribution into cohesive client-ready stories of brand and business impact. You will manage a team of analytics professionals guide cross-functional collaboration and ensure that insights are not just delivered but acted upon. You will report to SVP Analytics.
Measurement Leadership
Define and drive the clients holistic measurement strategy including advanced modeling ongoing attribution and tactical optimization.
Translate marketing performance data into clear executive-ready narratives that demonstrate the impact of media and marketing on business outcomes.
Integrate multiple measurement approaches into a seamless framework that connects brand health customer outcomes and revenue performance.
Ad Hoc Analytics
Lead client-requested analyses such as modeling the impact of media exposure on brand metrics and customer outcomes.
Apply advanced statistical techniques and data storytelling to uncover insights that directly influence client decision-making.
Balance long-term measurement strategy with quick turn analyses that respond to evolving business needs.
Client Engagement
Act as the primary senior analytics partner for client stakeholders building trusted relationships and proactively identifying opportunities to evolve measurement approaches.
Deliver insights and recommendations that inform annual planning in-flight optimization and long-term growth strategies.
Present complex analytics concepts in simple compelling ways for executive-level audiences.
Team & Collaboration
Manage mentor and inspire analytics team members across manager and associate levels.
Partner with media strategy account and data teams to ensure measurement is embedded into every phase of planning and execution.
Drive operational excellence by improving processes workflows and governance across all analytics deliverables.
Ad Operations & Tagging
Oversee tagging tracking and QA practices to ensure accurate data collection across platforms.
Collaborate with ad operations media and engineering partners to enable measurement at the source.
Troubleshoot tagging and tracking issues to safeguard data integrity and ensure analytics readiness.
Qualifications
8 years of experience in analytics with demonstrated leadership in advanced marketing measurement (MMM attribution brand analytics etc.).
Bachelors degree in Statistics Economics or related quantitative field required. Advanced degree preferred.
Strong client-facing experience with proven ability to influence executive decision-making.
Expertise in statistical and data manipulation tools (Python SQL R) and visualization platforms (Tableau PowerBI Looker Studio).
Working knowledge of ad operations tagging and tracking implementations (GA4 Floodlight pixels etc.).
Deep understanding of media metrics and marketing performance levers across digital and offline channels.
Exceptional storytelling skills. Able to connect complex analysis to clear business outcomes.
Additional Information
The annual salary range for this position is $113000 - $182850. Placement within the salary range is based on a variety of factors including relevant experience knowledge skills and other factors permitted by law.
