Job Summary
Title: Service Writer
Work location : Kenworth Lanoraie (120 Rue du Parc Industriel Lanoraie QC J0K 1E0 Canada)
Schedule : Monday to Friday Evening 3PM to 11:30PM
Salary: between 59-77K according to experience

Summary of responsibilities:
- Receive by phone or in person customers with eagerness.
- Openrepair orders by indicating the information related to the vehicle to be repaired.
- Book appointments according to workshopavailabilities
- Record the clients requests on the Worksheet one operation per indicate the Repair code (Repair Type).
- If necessary provide estimate costs by examining the components of the trucks (under the truck inside the hood or elsewhere) and provide this information to customer.
- Notify the customer whether the manufacturers warranty is covered or not.
- Agree with the customer on the method of payment for repairs.
- Keep the customer informed when parts that arenecessary for the repair are on back order.
- Promote preventive maintenance programs specials or any other appropriate products and services for the customers vehicle.
- Close the repair order once it has been verified by the workshop foreman and assign the costs to the customer the warranty or a request for a good agreement policy.
- Receive install tags maintain cleanliness and drive trucks ;
- Communicate with the foreman and technical advisor ;
- Support if necessary for the filing of documents.
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in French and basic English.
- English competency level: basic reading and writing
- Frequency : daily for communications with clients outside Quebec for repair needs.
- Customer-service oriented ;
- Team spirit ;
- Knowledge of heavy equipement mechanics (bonus) ;
- Experience in interpreting warranties specific to the trucking industry (bonus).
