The OpportunityLounsbury Chevrolet in Bathurst is looking for a Service Manager. You will be a key leader in the dealership responsible for the overall production and efficiency of the service department.

Responsibilities - Supervise and lead employees in the Service department including Technicians Service Advisors Warranty Administrators and Service Cashiers
- Address customer complaints and inquiries in a courteous and professional manner
- Maintain and promote a safe work environment
- Maintain relationships with suppliers
- Ensure compliance with company standards for cost control waste reduction quality safety and complete and on-time delivery
- Manage quality assurance - setting quality standards maintaining high quality of all garage activities
- Responsible for recruitment adherence to company policies and performance management
- Analyze and report on the departments daily monthly and annual key performance indicators and industry trends
- Review and use the monthly Profit and Loss statements to ensure expense control and proactively plan service and sales goals
Qualifications - Post-secondary diploma or degree in a mechanical/technical field preferred
- 5 or more years of previous management experience in a technical environment
- Effective leadership skills with a strong focus on operations and business processes
- A clear and solid understanding of personnel policies practices procedures and other operational issues faced by the organization
