Purpose
Leads and oversees Learning Operations / GHR Operations in Canada ensuring business strategies plansand initiatives are executed / delivered in compliance with governing regulations internal policies andprocedures.
Accountabilities
Leads and drives a customer focused culture throughout their team to deepen client relationships andleverage broader Bank relationships systems and knowledge
Leads the Learning Operations team ensuring all Learning Management System (LMS) activities andlearning administration processes are delivered in alignment with Banks policies standards andestablished service level agreements (SLAs)
Oversees the implementation of digital and non-digital learning programs in collaboration with LearningCOE and Learning teams in Business and in Countries ensuring Assignment Profile rules in the LMStarget the required audience
Acts as a consultant to Learning COE to provide guidance on best approach to deliver Learningsolutions to target audience considering both LMS capabilities and employee experience
Resolves complex escalated inquiries and/or issues impacting the delivery of learning programs in theLMS
Contributes to the development and maintenance of LMS governance and publishing standards
Works closely with Learning Systems Lead and collaborates with key stakeholders to implementsolutions to enhance processes improve learning delivery and learning technology
Ensures Case Mangement System Pega inquiries are responded accurately and within establishedSLAs leveraging data to develop strategies to keep the queue up to date
Creates reports to determine workload volumes to ensure teams capacity to meet Learningteamsdemands.
Understand how the Banks risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activitiesand decisions.
Creates an environment in which his/her team pursues effective and efficient operations of his/herrespective areas in accordance with Scotiabanks Values its Code of Conduct and the Global SalesPrinciples while ensuring the adequacy adherence to and effectiveness of day-to-day businesscontrols to meet obligations with respect to operational compliance AML/ATF/sanctions and conductrisk.

Data Analytics expertise
Basic Coding knowledge
Expert knowledge of MS Office applications
Systems: Success Factors/SAP LMS Pega
Post-secondary Degree in Human Resources or Business or related field
Knowledge of Learning Management Systems is required
2 -3 years experience as People Manager is required
Previous experience in digital program design and development is an asset
Strong data analytics skills are required
Strong knowledge of organizational structure and complexity
Strong project management skills to lead the execution of learning activities
Strong relationship management and interpersonal skills
Strong competence in Learning & Development programs processes policies and procedures
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
Spanish language is an asset
Working experience in the finance sector is an asset
