Job Summary

We are currently seeking a motivated individual to join our team in Hamilton Ontario! As a Quality Coordinator you will ensure that proper procedures are being followed by the inspection team members for productivity quality control and safety.

What youre responsible for:

  • Identifying inbound material grades non-conformities non-recyclable and hazardous material in inbound loads
  • Effectively and successfully training productivity quality control and safety measures as established and set for the Inspection Team
  • Facilitating and directing trucks to correct yard locations in an efficient manner
  • Performing Daily Checks (Pile Quality Truck Inspection Gate Cleanliness Overnight Loads)
  • Providing feedback to production about material quality or sale specifications
  • Coordinating quick action for loads that need to be sorted and dealt with in a timely fashion
  • Communicating with supervisors and commercial team about downgrades and deductions
  • Assisting in the implementation of training programs to train external team members on quality and procedures
  • Reviewing outbound sales to ensure quality specifications are met

Qualifications :

To join our team:

  • You are experienced in working around heavy equipment
  • You are comfortable with working indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions
  • You have a high school diploma or equivalent
  • You have working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel Outlook Word)
  • You have strong communication leadership and organizational skills
  • You have strong attention to detail and good work ethic
