Position Summary
TheHR Generalist partners with managers and employees at various levels to provide human resources support and solutions. Will work in conjunction with senior human resources business partner of business group.
Duties
- Recruiting full lifecycle support. May partner with central recruiting team to guide selection process with assigned areas.
- Employee Relations/Performance Management Consult/coach managers as they handle performance issues and talent development needs. Directly handle Employee Relations issues conduct investigations and recommend solutions.
- Support HR leadership team HR research project support reporting/analytics and champion HR initiatives.
- Training HR orientation and facilitate other HR training sessions as needed.
- No direct reports but will delegate tasks to others and oversee performance of HR support team.
Required Experience
Degree requirement may be waived if actively working towards degree and/or with substantial related HR work experience
- 2-4 years relevant HRexperience with Bachelors Degree (human resources organizational development behavioral sciences or business adminstration)
- 1-3 years of recruiting staffing and employee relations experience.
- Working knowledge of employment law AAP performance management practices and employee relations practices.
- Proficiency with HR systems (HRIS ATS)
- Knowledge and application of current HR trends best practices and compliance issues.

- Works effectively in the face of ambiguity shifting priorities and rapid change
- Sets an example by consistently modeling high standards of performance honesty and integrity
- Ability to maintain a high level of confidentially

- High level of communication skills both in writing and orally and ability to appropriately handle sensitive and confidential situations and documentation
- Demonstrates a high level of analytical skills detail oriented and strong organizational skills. Able to analyze HR processes and make practical recommendations to clients
- Demonstrates flexibility adaptability and versatility; ability to set goals and reinforce deadlines while maintaining flexibility to reassess and re-prioritize; Strong commitment to achieving goals
- Keeps current in the areas of best HR principles and best practices including recruitment training employee relations compensation etc.
