Overview of the Role:

This Project Estimator II develops quantifies and validates capital expenditure (CapEx) models that guide investment decisions for major projects. Youll provide technical guidance cost estimating expertise market pricing insights and staffing considerations to ensure accurate defensible project budgets. Working cross-functionally with engineering procurement and project teams youll influence design alternatives and help deliver cost-effective high-quality project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare detailed capital cost estimates and supporting documentation for project proposals and budgets.
Review designs layouts and specifications for cost effectiveness and recommend alternatives when appropriate.
Coordinate with engineering procurement construction and project management teams to align scope schedule and cost assumptions.
Maintain and update market pricing productivity rates and resource loading for accurate estimates.
Establish build and implement metrics for scope and construction estimate checks and continuous improvement.
Remain current with industry trends technologies and material/labor market conditions to ensure estimates reflect the market.
Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

High School Diploma / GED required
Bachelors degree or equivalent experience preferred.
