Facility Project Specialist
Location: Spartanburg SC - relocation available.
Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Facility Project Specialist to support the planning and execution of a next-generation high-performance computing (HPC) data center. This role supports design permitting utilities vendor coordination and construction activities while tracking schedules budgets and documentation to ensure successful delivery.
Reporting to senior leadership within Property Development this is a hands-on onsite role with long-term growth potential into a Facilities or Project Management position.
Key Responsibilities

Support design permitting and construction phases for a mission-critical data center

Track project schedules budgets milestones and reporting
-
Coordinate vendors contractors utilities and internal teams to support site execution
-
Assist with renewable energy fencing access control and site infrastructure projects
-
Support site upgrades including paving lighting signage and landscaping
-
Conduct routine site walks document issues and help drive resolution
-
Assist with RFPs bid reviews contractor onboarding and vendor oversight
-
Ensure compliance with safety environmental and building requirements
-
Contribute to project updates and stakeholder communications
Qualifications
-
Associates or Bachelors degree in Construction Management Engineering Architecture Real Estate or related field
-
57 years of experience in facilities construction or industrial real estate projects
-
Working knowledge of MEP systems utilities and critical infrastructure
-
Strong project coordination documentation and communication skills
-
Ability to manage multiple workstreams in a fast-paced environment
-
Proficiency with project management and facilities documentation tools
Preferred
-
Facilities Management (FM) certifications
-
Experience with utilities (electric gas solar telecom water)
-
Exposure to data center or mission-critical environments
