About the Role:

As aBusiness Development Representativeat Topsort youll be at the forefront of our growth connecting with top retailers and marketplaces to spark new partnerships and fuel our sales pipeline. This is a high-impact fast-paced role where your drive creativity and curiosity will open doors and shape the future of retail media. Key Responsibilities

Pipeline Growth:

  • Drive pipeline growth in both volume and size by identifying and engaging potential clients through strategic outreach.
  • Develop and execute outbound activities including cold calls emails LinkedIn outreach and networking to connect with prospects.

Qualify and Prepare Opportunities:

  • Conduct initial outreach and qualification to identify high-potential clients and assess their needs.
  • Lead discovery meetings to understand client pain points and align them with Topsorts solutions.

Collaborate Across Teams:

  • Work closely with Account Executives to transition qualified leads seamlessly into the sales cycle.
  • Partner with the marketing team to align on messaging and campaigns to maximize outreach effectiveness.
  • Set individual and team performance goals aligned with organizational objectives.

Market and Product Expertise:

  • Develop a strong understanding of Topsorts products industry trends and competitive landscape to confidently engage with prospects.
  • Act as the first point of contact setting a strong foundation for client relationships.
  • Leverage market insights and collaborate with teams to craft targeted campaigns and refine solutions to meet customer needs.

Reporting and Analysis:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in CRM tools tracking outreach activities pipeline metrics and lead quality.
  • Analyze outreach performance and iterate on strategies to improve effectiveness.

What you bring:

Experience:

  • 1-2 years of experience in sales development business development or a similar role preferably within ad tech SaaS or retail solutions.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding outreach and pipeline generation goals.

Skills and Traits:

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and qualify leads effectively.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills to handle high volumes of outreach and follow-ups.
  • A proactive and persistent mindset with a focus on achieving measurable results.
