We are hiring an Investment Operations Analyst I to support the investment operations team by handling key operational and accounting functions including processing routine instructions verifying transactions reviewing invoices managing capital call transactions and maintaining accurate investment data.
In this position you will:
Support the new account setup process by completing subscription agreements for private placements and initiating new accounts with custodians across all asset types
Review quarterly statements and monthly reports for accuracy ensuring the integrity of data shared with third parties
Coordinate the redemption of program administrative fees review daily settlements monitor and rebalance portfolios monitor and invest cash and assist with the preparation of investment performance reports
Summarize data for portfolio expenses and report data and trends in response to internal and external requests
Assist with the preparation of quarterly proxy voting reports management fee calculations and rate of return analysis
Prepare for and participate in Investment Advisory Committee meetings and assist with post-meeting action items
Successful candidates will have:
Three years of relevant work experience in financial services investment operations accounting or related field; equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered
Demonstrated knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) investments financial reporting and general business processes required
Demonstrated knowledge of investment accounting and operations and investment back-office
Ability to read analyze and accurately interpret accounting records complex financial statements budget and forecasting detail policies and procedures and investment statements
Ability to work with and manipulate complex data and to draw valid conclusions from that data
Demonstrated critical thinking decision making and analytical ability with a strong attention to detail and ability to complete tasks accurately and thoroughly
Demonstrated proficiency with financial systems and using Microsoft Office software
Ability to communicate clearly concisely and persuasively orally and in writing
Work Environment:
The position requires working on-site two to three days per week as part of a hybrid schedule to maintain collaboration communication and engagement with colleagues
Typical office environment with considerable time in a sitting stationary position
Constantly operate a computer and other office equipment including typing and keying
Frequently communicate with team members and third-party business partners; must be able to exchange accurate information accordingly
