Senior Commercial Manager Renewable Energy Developer Sydney

The Opportunity

This is a high-impact senior commercial role at the heart of Australias energy transition. Youll lead the commercial strategy for a diverse portfolio of projects from early-stage origination through to financial close and operations. Key Responsibilities

Originate and negotiate Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) with corporate and industrial offtakers
Lead commercial input into EPC contracts offtake agreements and tolling arrangements
Support financial close processes including financial modelling and lender engagement
Evaluate commercial viability of wind solar battery and hydrogen projects
Manage customer relationships and coordinate responses to PPA tenders
Oversee internal commercial processes and liaise with legal finance and development teams
Contribute to feasibility studies and due diligence for new investments and emerging technologies

Candidate Profile

812 years experiencein commercial roles within renewable energy infrastructure or utilities
Strong background inproject financeandfinancial modelling
Solid understanding ofcontract structures ideally with a foundation in law or legal review (EPC PPA offtake)
Proven track record in negotiating and closing PPAs and supporting financial close
Experience with battery tolling models and hydrogen commercialisation is highly regarded
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
