About the Role:
We are seeking experienced Dispatch / On-Call Engineers to provide onsite desktop network and POS support on an as-needed basis across the North Island. This role involves attending client sites to troubleshoot and resolve IT issues promptly ensuring minimal downtime and excellent customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Diagnose and resolve desktop POS network and printer issues.
Perform operating system installation patching and upgrades.
Handle software and hardware break-fix activities.
Configure basic network components including LAN WAN switches and routers.
Install and administer Microsoft Office and other standard business applications.
Communicate effectively in business English and local language as needed.
Engineer Requirements / Tools to Carry:
Fully charged laptop (Windows 8/10) with admin rights.
Cisco console cable (DB9RJ45 or USBRJ45) with drivers properly installed.
Pre-installed tools: PuTTY TeamViewer TFTP Server.
Screwdriver set and Internet data card.
Must be able to console into Cisco routers and use Webex for remote collaboration.

This is an on-call dispatch-based engagement.
