PROJECT MANAGEMENT AND DEVELOPMENT PLANNING SECTION
Manager (Project Management) ()
The University is seeking dynamic and focused professionals in built environment to join the Estates Office.
Responsibilities:
- Play a key role in carrying out project management duties for the implementation of the Universitys campus development projects large scale planned preventive maintenance plan renovation works and repair & maintenance;
- Represent the Estates Office in communicating with project consultants work contractors government departments statutory bodies and other outside entities on matters relating to project execution and campus planning and development;
- Liaise and manage various stakeholders and end-users departments;
- Carry out feasibility studies for development and alteration; and
- Spearhead the preparation of presentation including drawings data visualisation as well as production of working drawingspecifications tender documents and other project-control documents for campus development projects.
Requirements:
- A recognised degree in Building SurveyingConstruction Management Building Engineering & Management or a related discipline with at least EIGHT years of post qualification of relevant work experience (preferably in a tertiary institution);
- A full member of HKIS HKICM or equivalent preferred;
- Strong communication skills in both written and spoken English and Chinese and proficiency in computer applications in relation to project management and construction administrations; and
- The ability to manage multiple projects in a dynamic and changing environment with a service-orientated mindset and positive manner to communicate with others.
Shortlisted candidates will be invited to sit for a written test.
The initial appointment will be offered on a fixed-term contract of two years. Re-appointment thereafter will be subject to mutual agreement and availability of funding.
Salary will be commensurate with professional qualifications and experience.
