Maintenance Lead Velo

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Lead daily maintenance planning and troubleshooting for production lines
• Reduce unplanned downtime and drive equipment reliability improvements
• Own and implement preventive maintenance (PM) strategies and systems
• Mentor and guide operating teams on fundamental maintenance and issue resolution
• Analyze breakdown trends and lead root-cause elimination efforts
• Liaise with cross-functional teams for scheduling and prioritizing repairs
• Ensure compliance with machine safety standards and factory protocols
• Contribute to the formulation of enduring maintenance plans and annual scheduling

What are we looking for

• Technical diploma or degree in mechanical/electrical engineering
• At least 3 years of experience within a manufacturing maintenance position
• Strong technical expertise in mechanical maintenance
• Hands-on experience in preventive and breakdown maintenance
• Proven ability to mentor and develop others on the shop floor
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
• Capacity to thrive in a rapid-paced unionized and innovation-focused setting
• Computer literacy and basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Familiarity with modern maintenance systems (e.g. PM DMS)
