Deputy Manager - Taxation
Your main responsibilities
Broad Role Scope:
Responsibility in ensuring compliance with income tax laws and transfer pricing regulations as applicable for the company and playing a key role in establishing adequate tax processes and controls.
Job Responsibility
Direct Taxation:
- Assistance in ensuring TDS compliances computation of advance tax workings for tax provisions etc.
- Assistance in preparation and filing of Return of Income support in closing the tax audit statutory audit and transfer pricing requirements as per statutory deadlines
- Assistance in preparation of Effective tax rate and computations for current tax and deferred tax on quarterly and annual basis as required for the purpose of reporting
Transfer Pricing:
- Assistance in ensuring transactions between related entities are at arms length and in ensuring adequate transfer pricing documentation is in place to support tax positions
- Assistance in preparing and reviewing transfer pricing documentation (Local File Master File CbCR)
- Assistance in conducting benchmarking studies and analyses
- Assisatance in supporting in global documentation projects and TP audits
- Support in APA submissions and preparation of related working files
GST
- Working knowledge to support compliances under GST provisions
- Supporting in preparation of files for closure of GST assessments and audits
General
- Coordinating with tax auditors/TP auditors/statutory auditors for the related audits
- Assistance in managing litigation which would include assistance in preparation of submissions to tax authorities and organizing representation at tax assessments appeals and litigation
- Ensuring accurate tax accounting and reporting in financial statements
- Working towards improving processes and automation
- Monitoring any changes in tax laws and assessing their impact on business operations
- Collaborating with internal teams including legal finance etc. to support business transactions from tax perspective.
- Participating in tax strategy reviewing agreements from a tax perspective
What you bring
Requirement
- Qualified CA with at least 2-3 years of experience with good knowledge of direct taxes transfer pricing and working knowledge of indirect taxes.
- Knowledge and understanding of Accounting Standards and tax provisioning Finance and Indian GAAP IFRS
- SAP knowledge is a must
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook Word Excel and Power Point)
- Should be able to take decisions under pressure
Should be able to coordinate and prioritize the work and avoid delays
