Queensland Rail is looking for a Signalling Systems Assurance Lead (Rail). This is a unique opportunity to contribute to a transformative project that will enhance the public transportation network across Queensland.
This position is offered as a fixed-term role with Queensland Rail until June 2028 with the potential for transition to a permanent employment status after two years of continuous employment.

About the role:
As the Signalling Systems Assurance Lead you will provide expert systems safety engineering services across the Queensland Rail including to the management of Systems Assurance activities for Signalling Engineering projects.
As the lead for the signalling systems assurance function you will help us to mature our assurance framework develop systems engineering capability within our team and support our partners in the delivery of demonstratable safe project outcomes.

What youll bring:
Candidates will have Railway Signalling and Systems Engineering and/or Safety Assurance experience.
Qualifications at the time of application:
If your qualification was issued overseas it will be a Washington Accord-recognised Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical/Electronic) and assessed by Engineers Australia as meeting the entry-level competency standard for professional engineers.
