Job Summary

We are seeking a strong Sr. Finance Manager to join our team. The Value-In-Kind (VIK) Sr. Finance Manager is responsible for managing optimizing and reporting on the financial aspects of non-cash contributions and partnerships. This role involves strategic planning assessment and oversight of VIK transactions to ensure they align with the companys financial goals and compliance standards. The VIK Sr. Finance Manager works closely with various departments to leverage non-monetary contributions effectively. This role will also serve as a strategic finance business partner to certain areas of Visas Value-Added-Services business providing financial insights and analysis to drive business performance.

Key VIK Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Planning and Management:

    • Develop and implement strategies to maximize the value of VIK partnerships and contributions.

    • Collaborate with the executive team to align VIK initiatives with the companys overall financial and strategic goals.

    • Identify opportunities for new VIK partnerships and assess their potential financial impact

    • Partner and consult with deal teams to model and review VIK terms in client contracts

  • Financial Reporting and Analysis:

    • Oversee the accurate recording and reporting of VIK transactions in accordance with accounting standards and regulations

    • Analyze key metrics and ad-hoc analysis to inform action-oriented business insights

    • Monitor and evaluate the performance of VIK agreements ensuring they deliver expected value

  • Compliance and Risk Management:

    • Support VIK operational processes as necessary to ensure that transactions comply with company policies and procedures

    • Partner with Central VIK team to develop and carry out internal controls as applicable to support complete and accurate reporting

    • Identify and mitigate financial risks associated with VIK transactions.

  • Collaboration and Relationship Management:

    • Work closely with marketing procurement legal and other departments to manage VIK partnerships.

    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with partners providing VIK contributions.

    • Act as the primary point of contact for financial inquiries related to VIK from internal and external stakeholders.

    • Enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of processes associated with the VIK Program drive the evolution of VIK and VAS processes and policies and improvement of the tools in partnership with Central VIK Team

    • Provide trainings to key stakeholders to drive awareness support change management drive process effectiveness as needed.

  • Budgeting and Forecasting:

    • Liaise with Sales Ops AEs product leads across the company and others as needed to budget and forecast VIK creation inventory and consumption (annual and multi-year plans)

    • Provide insights and recommendations on VIK-related financial planning

    • Monitor and report on the financial performance of VIK contributions against budgeted targets. Analyze variance and data to highlight actionable risks and opportunities to business plan

Key VAS Finance Business Partner Responsibilities:

  • Financial Analysis & Reporting:

    • Conduct detailed financial analysis to support business decisions.

    • Develop and maintain financial models to forecast business performance.

    • Prepare monthly quarterly and annual financial reports for various stakeholders.

  • Business Partnering:

    • Collaborate with VAS delivery function teams to understand their financial needs and provide insights.

    • Support strategic initiatives by providing financial analysis and recommendations.

    • Act as a liaison between finance and other departments to ensure alignment on financial goals and objectives.

  • Budgeting & Forecasting:

    • Support the multi-year strategic planning annual budgeting process quarterly forecasting cycles and business reviews

    • Provide variance analysis and explain deviations from budget/forecast.

    • Identify potential financial risks and opportunities and provide actionable recommendations.

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.


Qualifications :

  • ISCA / ACCA / CFA qualified or equivalent with 10 years post qualification experience
  • Prior experience working in a finance division within a large matrix organization
  • Experience in budgeting and forecasting business performance analytics and working with multi-functional teams
  • Experience with complex financial systems (e.g. Hyperion TM1) is beneficial but not required
  • Ability to improve processes systems and plans that balance short-term and long-term growth.
  • High energy and enthusiasm to partner with multiple global and regional stakeholders.
  • Able to work in a dual reporting matrix environment.
  • Strong curiosity to connect the dots and tell the story through analytics and visual aids.
  • Proven expertise in managing large data sets.
  • Analytical project management and critical thinking skills with demonstrated intellectual and analytical rigor.
  • Advanced proficiency in financial modeling (Microsoft Excel) and building presentations (Microsoft PowerPoint).
  • Highly detail-oriented with the ability to convert complex analysis into insightful business commentary.
  • Ability to cultivate effective relationships and communicate effectively with management to influence outcomes.
  • Team-oriented collaborative diplomatic and flexible with excellent presentation skills including strong oral and writing capabilities.
  • Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills to influence and build credibility as a peer with business leaders in global and regional functions.
  • Strategic and analytical thinker capable of working through complex problems processes and data sets.
  • Ability to make decisions with limited guidance usually within a complex and often ambiguous environment to drive rigorous fact-based recommendations to senior management while supporting syndication with stakeholders across the organization.
