The Role
Were looking for an experienced and safety-minded Dayshift Electrician to join our high-performing team at our can manufacturing facility in this role youll be responsible for maintaining troubleshooting and continuously improving our high-speed manufacturing equipment to ensure maximum performance and uptime. This is a full-time position working 7am3pm Monday to Friday
Key Responsibilities
Conduct preventative and corrective maintenance on plant equipment and machinery.
Diagnose and repair electrical faults to minimise downtime and ensure efficient operations.
Support project work including equipment installation upgrades and commissioning.
Collaborate with engineers and suppliers on equipment design layout and improvements.
Assist in training apprentices and operator electricians on maintenance best practices.
Maintain accurate documentation through engineering systems and ensure compliance with HSEQ standards.
About You
Qualified Electrical Trade Certificate (Advanced Certificate highly regarded).
Minimum 3 years experience in industrial or high-speed manufacturing environments.
Strong ability to troubleshoot electrical and control system faults (PLC SCADA industrial wiring).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with floor staff contractors and engineers.
- Strong organisation and prioritisation abilities.
