$1344 Daily per day inclusive of Super
11-month contract

Our client is a large NSW Government Organisation who are seeking a Cyber Security Consultant to join their team.

The role is responsible for designing information security controls and technology to support the implementation of the organisations cyber security strategy. This also encompass the construction and connection of security principles methods and models all of which are vital for safeguarding assets from cyber threats

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with team members business units and other stakeholders to develop implement and maintain information security controls and standards in alignment with the frameworks and policies to ensure the security of information technology systems.
Provide expert input to the strategic direction of technology investments to assist in the development of the information security architecture and roadmap as well as maximise value for money investment.
Manage stakeholder relationships through effective communication negotiation and issues management to ensure stakeholders are engaged throughout projects and project deliverables are met successfully

Selection Criteria:

Demonstrated experience identifying potential vulnerabilities implementing robust security measures and continuously improving the cybersecurity in a large complex organisation.

Tertiary qualifications in IT and Cyber Security or an appropriate discipline and/ or equivalent significant relevant industry experience.

Prior government experience is highly regarded.

Required Skills:

1. Relevant tertiary qualification in human resources management or business or equivalent experience in the provision of generalist human resources advice and consultancy services. 2. Previous proven experience in leading organisational change projects in complex environments. 3. Strong understanding of change management methodologies including relevant employment laws regulations and policies.
