The project and your role

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Senior PHP Developer to take ownership of a multi tenant web application platform. This application is designed to streamline the ordering and production process for various printed products particularly labels.

The project offers an exciting technical mix requiring expertise in modern web frameworks to ensure the platform remains scalable highly available and perfectly integrated with core business systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Take full ownership of the applications development and ongoing maintenance.
• Design and implement new features and optimize existing functionality within the PHP backend leveraging the CakePHP framework.
• Work directly on the Angular 17 frontend to continuously improve the user experience and interface.
• Ensure seamless integration with the core ERP system and manage complex API interactions required for data flow.
• Collaborate closely with the team to define technical architecture solutions and internal best practices.
• Contribute to AWS deployment monitoring and infrastructure improvements as necessary.

Your skills

• Strong experience in PHP development.
• Hands-on experience with CakePHP or a highly comparable PHP framework (Laravel Symfony) and a demonstrated ability to learn new frameworks quickly.
• Proficiency in modern frontend development using Angular (version 14) or a similar modern framework (React ).
• Expertise in developing and integrating REST APIs.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to work independently taking ownership of complex problems.

Desired Skills & Knowledge (Good to Have):

• Experience with AWS hosting and cloud services (EC2 S3 RDS etc.).
• Familiarity with Docker for containerization and environment consistency.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines for automated build and deployment processes.
