As a Technology Finance Business Manager within the Commercial & Investment Bank you will collaborate with senior management to develop financial plans analyze performance and identify cost-saving opportunities. Your role involves managing headcount and financial processes providing executive reporting and supporting monthly and annual planning cycles.
Job Responsibilities:
- Partner with senior technology managers to build financial plans and conduct budget forecast and variance analysis.
- Assist in interpreting performance vs. plan and financial forecasting results.
- Ensure processes provide transparency on expenses focusing on key drivers.
- Support large-scale productivity agendas and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Provide insight and transparency around technology expenses delivery schedules and resource agendas.
- Deliver management and client reporting focusing on business unit performance against objectives.
- Proactively highlight issues and risks derive solutions and drive remedies to completion.
- Build strong relationships with Controlling P&A and Strategy teams.
- Manage headcount and financial processes including monthly forecasting and annual planning.
- Oversee the monthly financial reporting process including executive management reporting.
- Apply knowledge of FinOps and AWS costing methodologies to financial management.
Required Qualifications Capabilities and Skills:
- Bachelors degree in Business Finance Economics or related area.
- 3 years of experience in Technology Business Management and Financial Management.
- Prior experience in Business Management or COO role.
- Proven experience delivering timely high-quality presentations and reporting.
- Excellent communication organization and project management skills.
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in MS Office tools (Excel PowerPoint Pivot Tables).
- Self-motivated tenacious and able to work independently.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Strong time management and prioritization skills.
- Attention to detail with a continuous focus on design excellence.
Preferred Qualifications Capabilities and Skills:
- Experience with FinOps and AWS costing methodologies.
