The Aftermarket Planning Lead will place specific focus on engine overhaul and component repair and field service processes across Pratt & Whitney aftermarket spares planning for repairs forecasting and provisioning strategies engine overhaul and component repair execution. This will require strong project management skills looking across each of the business units and across the enterprise.
This role leads Pratt in support of activities and RTX to enable strategic initiatives establish program framework for process design and decision capture and drives the launch and execution of blueprinting activities.
The intent of oneRTX: Process & Systems Transformation (PST) is to harmonize processes tools and metrics across RTX while deploying a common enterprise resource management platform SAPs S/4 result will be a common user experience across the businesses real-time visibility into critical data and automation of manual tasks to enable all employees to focus on value-add activities. With processes optimized and harmonized we can leverage our scale so teams across RTX can share resources leverage talent seamlessly and identify efficiencies. We will reduce cost and effort and improve performance as we break down silos and establish consistent ways of working.
What You Will Do:
Support discussions within the aftermarket segments Commercial Military and Pratt & Whitney Canada with a focus on aftermarket planning and MRO management
Partner with Digital and business units to evaluate and implement SAP and other tools that complement/enhance process optimization and support critical requirements
Partner with subject matter experts in the business units to analyze recommendations for blueprinting to enable strategic goals identified in Global Design
Support the execution of blueprinting activities inclusive of defining global process designs standardizing metrics and reporting designing common information model building global template and testing for readiness
Facilitate postworkshop SME sessions (AAR business process validation and technology being used etc.)
Partner with the other business workstream leads to ensure process alignment data consistency and accuracy.
Qualifications You Must Have:
Bachelors Degree and 10 years prior experience as listed below; Or an Advanced Degree 7 years experience
Project management skills experience with large scale system implementation project
Experience with SAP MS PowerPoint Word and Excel and other applicable software
Familiarity with aerospace and defense industry and the aftermarket business processes such as aftermarket planning and MRO management
Qualifications We Prefer:
Cross-functional knowledge of multiple work areas typically obtained through advanced education combined with aerospace and defense experience
Ability to communicate with parties within and outside of own function
Ability to influence others to accept job functions view/practices and agree/accept new concepts practices and approaches
Knowledge of aftermarket planning forecasting tools (e.g. Kinaxis Servigistics IBP eSPP)
Continuous improvement experience identifying critical organizational issues and root causes; provide objective practical data-driven solutions.
Work effectively in a matrix and team environment and collaborate across lines of business and function
Scope and effectively manage multiple activities concurrently; project management expertise
Align and translate strategy into specific goals tactics action plans and deliverables; clearly track and report progress to plan at both executive and working team level
Develop and deliver sound persuasive business cases that result in leadership action
Work productively in a fast-paced demanding environment (virtually as well as in-person)
Guide and influence at multiple levels of the organization to include executive leadership for the purpose of change management.

The salary range for this role is 124000 USD - 250000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
