Job Summary
Due to ongoing growth and some exciting project wins AECOM is seeking a Senior Geotechnical Engineer to join our Sydney office.
You will have the opportunity to work with and learn from a strong team of geotechnical engineers and engineering geologists of all levels.
How youll make a difference:
- Completing desk studies planning and delivering ground investigations and preparing associated factual and interpretive reporting
- Providing a strong competency in ground characterisation geotechnical parameter assessment and high-quality reporting
- Assisting in the preparation of bids and proposals and attending meetings with contractors and clients both external and internal
- Mentoring and developing junior engineers and facilitating opportunities that build team competency
Qualifications :
The following qualifications and experience are highly desired but if you dont tick all the boxes you could still be a perfect fit for this role. Please apply all applications will be considered.
- Bachelors degree in civil engineering (or equivalent)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated competency in scoping planning and managing geotechnical investigations
- Good computer skills including Microsoft Office Sequent and Rocscience specialist software
