Duties and Responsibilities:
Develop knowledge of Ivy Tech resources for students.
Cover front desk answer phones and perform data entry as needed.
Assist faculty in student recruitment activities by acting as a student ambassador.
Assist faculty advisors in their work contacting students who may need help with registration or other concerns by phone call
text email or Zoom meeting.
Help eliminate any barriers a student might experience in accessing resources by initiating the contact or resolving the issue
for the student when possible under the direction of a faculty advisor.
Pay Rate: $15.00 per hour
General Qualifications:
Completed FAFSA on file demonstrating financial need.
High School Diploma or G.E.D.
Be able to communicate well orally and work well with diverse student populations
Maintain a minimum of 6 credit hours of enrollment in eligible courses
Maintain an aid-eligible Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) status
Student must have a cumulative GPA of 2.0 or greater.

Display a professional appearance and demeanor.
Must be dependable responsible and organized.
Must work cooperatively with others and accept direction from supervisors.
Proficient with the use of Microsoft Office (Word PowerPoint Excel Outlook).
Must be able to practice confidentiality in all aspects of work.
Must have excellent customer service skills.
Confidentiality must be maintained and followed along with FERPA regulations.
Performs other duties as assigned.
