OCC Logistic Supervisor

Purpose of the role

  • Arrange and optimize travel arrangements (positioning plan accommodation and transportation) for Wizz Air and External Crew within a 72-hour operational window and/or outside of regular office hours.
  • Maintain liaison communication with Crew Members cross-functional departments and other Logistics teams.
  • Ensure high performance of the OCC Logistics team by committing to the outlined responsibilities.

Responsibilities

  • Arrange hotel accommodation and transportation for Crew Members based on their planned schedules.
  • Arrange hotel accommodation and transportation for Crew Members in case of operational disruptions.
  • Provide occasional support in travel arrangements for other internal departments.
  • Maintain liaison communication with Crew Members.
  • Cooperate with Operation Control (Duty Managers Crew Control Short-term planning) Operations Planning and Training Planning departments.
  • Maintain liaison communication within the team and with other Crew Logistics Teams from all AOCs.
  • Support the arrangement of hotel accommodation and transportation for External Crew outside regular office hours.
  • Ensure accurate cost allocation of booking requests.
  • Control and optimize costs by finding and securing the most economical positioning solution in a timely manner; actively participate in developing and implementing the most cost-efficient practices in Crew Logistics.
  • Supervise OCC Logistics Agents on shift monitor performance coordinate AOCs and share knowledge/advice when needed.
  • Train new joiner OCC Logistics Agents.
  • Maintain and update policies procedures and SOPs related to Logistics.
  • Actively participate in testing and developing applications used in Crew Logistics.
  • Managing workload balance between agents on shift and providing support when needed.

Experience

Min. 1 year of work experience

Hard skills

  • Proficiency in MS Office
  • Crew Management System knowledge is an advantage

Education

Bachelors or Masters degree

Language

Fluent English (written and spoken)
