This position oversees the life cycle of a repair order from purchase order placement to order closure in the applicable systems. This position creates quotes and sales orders accurately reflecting customer purchase order requirements in the SAP Sales & Distribution module. Managing ongoing changes to SAP sales orders monitoring inventory and billing reports and taking appropriate action is also performed. Regular communication with external and internal customers is necessary. Actions directly impact sales profit and on-time delivery performance.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

Demonstrates proficiency with tools systems procedures and processes required to create complex orders and quotes. Identifies trends analyzes problems and suggests alternatives for assigned tasks.
Takes an active role to ensure Environment Health and Safety standards and procedures are met and complied with.
Provides oversight and monitors inventory to maximize sales and ensures customer order requirements are met manually creating delivery documents as appropriate.
Supervises and monitors order execution by providing guidance to team members to ensure sales goals are achieved.
Identifies SAP Sales Order Set up processes and constraints to implementing and performing on customer contracts. Makes recommendations to finding necessary alternative sales order set up methods.
Maintains contact with personnel from various customers and supports areas to ensure accuracy of materials/processes.
Creates submits and monitors US Government receiving reports and invoices. With assistance addresses U.S. Government portal issues.
Performs and assists with special projects as required.
Demonstrates proficiency with government contracts and contract recommendations or alternatives when it comes to negotiating acceptable terms and conditions.
Develops and tests new or moderately difficult order administration processes.
Creates updates archives order and customer files as required.
Utilizes SAP reporting tools to create reports to meet customer expectations.

QUALIFICATIONS YOU MUST HAVE:

Typically requires an AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 8 years relevant experience.
Experience providing service to external customers on a business-to-business level.

QUALIFICATIONS WE PREFER:

Experience working in the aerospace industry.
Experience reading and interpreting contracts/warranty documents.
Experience reviewing and approving customer purchase orders.

The salary range for this role is 56000 USD - 112000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer including but not limited to the role function and associated responsibilities a candidates work experience location education/training and key skills.
