As anActivities DirectoratEmerald Crest of Burnsvilleyou will manage a small team of activities professionals plan and conduct fun and exciting activities for our ideal candidate is self-motivated with a genuine concern for our residents well-being and has a creative personality and positive attitude.

Position Type:Full-Time working a varying schedule including weekends

Wage Range:$25 - $28 /hour depending on experience

• Manage a small team of activities professionals.
• Ensure meaningful activities are scheduled and executed seven days a week.
• Encourage support and assist residents with activities.
• Display an attitude of courtesy and respect for all residents families and staff.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• 1 year of experience working in a senior living or recreation therapy setting required.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Artistic and musical skills are a plus.
• Desire to work with the older adults in an assisted living setting
• Strong interpersonal and social skills are vital.
• Good customer service instincts will be important in interacting with family members and visitors.
• Engaging enthusiastic willing to learn and overflowing with creativity to share in planning new activities
