We are looking for our newHead of Region Southeast Europe - Corn & Sunflower (m/f/d)atKWS SAAT SE & CO. KGaAto manage our business through KWS group commercial structures and distribution networks shaping mid- to long-term sales and marketing strategies in line with our overall corporate vision.
In this role you will implement the Business Unit (BU) Corn & Sunflower strategy under consideration of cross-crop needs of the KWS portfolio to achieve optimal regional financial performance and strategic goals. As the designated Head of Region (m/f/d) you will act as the key liaison between the regional commercial team and the country managing cross-crop and administrative matters.
As a member of our BU leadership team your contributions will be vital in shaping long-term strategies and driving overall business success.
This position is permanent and offered on a full-time basis. The place of work is at the headquarters inEinbeck Lower Saxony with the option for remote work and regular presence at the headquarters required.
Your New Key Responsibilities:
- Define and execute the long-term BU Corn and Sunflower strategy in the region Southeast Europe (SEE).
- Drive regional growth and take accountability for Corn and Sunflower business performance to ensure profitability.
- Steer the portfolio lifecycle with Portfolio & Product Management by integrating country-specific know-how and aligning the market needs to breeding goals.
- Collaborate closely within the Regional Commercial Team Head of Regions Sugarbeet and Cereals maintaining focus on your BU crops while also considering overall targets for the countries and the region to drive collective growth.
- Align with the Regional Commercial Team to guide countries and the region toward achieving common objectives including sales budgets and profit and loss targets.
- Define within the Regional Commercial Team and execute country-specific sales and marketing strategies in close collaboration with the commercial country organization.
- Take ownership and responsibility as the Head of Region acting as the liaison between the Regional Commercial Team and specific countries of the region for overseeing cross-crop and administrative activities.
Your Profile:
- Master degree or comparable with strong interest in agriculture.
- Extensive experience in relevant roles displaying international leadership experience and understanding of agricultural and business management.
- Excellent command of English additional language skills are an asset.
- Experience in international change procedures incl. experience in working in matrix organizations.
- International sales experience paired with the ability to drive sales results.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on both external and internal stakeholders fostering excellent communication in diverse cultural settings.
- Ability to envision the big picture and translate it into actionable strategies demonstrating a strategic mindset to drive meaningful outcomes.
- Leading by example in terms of accountability and maintaining a high motivation to meet and exceed goals.
- Fostering a culture of continuous development within teams.
- Excellent command of English additional language skills are an asset.
