Position Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Property Manager with expertise in both Homeowners Association (HOA) management and hospitality or rental property operations. This position plays a critical role in overseeing the daily operations of a mixed-use building maintaining compliance with HOA standards and delivering a high-quality service-oriented experience for residents and guests.
Key Responsibilities
Property & HOA Management
- Oversee day-to-day building operations including maintenance and vendor management.
- Ensure compliance with HOA bylaws covenants and governing documents.
- Organize and attend HOA board meetings; prepare reports and offer strategic recommendations.
- Manage dues collection rule enforcement and homeowner issue resolution.
- Maintain strong vendor relationships and enforce service-level expectations.
Hospitality & Resident Relations
- Create a hospitality-driven environment that prioritizes service and resident satisfaction.
- Serve as the main point of contact for homeowners tenants and Airbnb guests.
- Plan and execute community events amenities usage and engagement initiatives.
- Implement strategies to boost occupancy tenant retention and guest experience.
Financial & Administrative Oversight
- Develop and oversee annual budgets forecasting and expense tracking.
- Prepare financial reports board packets and variance analyses.
- Manage billing collections and financial compliance with HOA and company policies.
- Ensure full adherence to legal operational and safety standards.
Leadership & Team Management
- Supervise and guide on-site personnel including maintenance concierge and admin staff.
- Lead performance management staff training and process improvement efforts.
- Foster a team culture of accountability professionalism and service excellence.
Qualifications
- Required:
- Proven experience as a Property Manager with both HOA and hospitality/rental management experience.
- Strong knowledge of HOA operations residential property laws and financial practices.
- Excellent interpersonal communication and conflict resolution skills.
- Proficiency in property management software (e.g. Guesty preferred) and office tools.
- Preferred:
- Industry certifications: CMCA AMS or similar designations.
