Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and detail-focused Powder Coating technician to join a growing manufacturing team in North Tulsa. The Powder Coating position is responsible for preparing applying and inspecting powder-coated finishes on metal parts to ensure consistent quality and adherence to specifications. This role requires precision teamwork and a strong commitment to safety in a fast-paced production environment.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare metal surfaces for coating by cleaning sanding blasting or masking parts as required.
Mix and apply powder coating materials using spray guns in a controlled environment.
Inspect finished parts for quality color consistency and proper coating thickness.
Maintain a clean organized and safe work area following all company safety protocols.
Perform routine maintenance on coating equipment and report mechanical issues.
Track and record production data including batch numbers material usage and completion times.
Collaborate with production team members to meet schedule demands and quality standards.

Qualifications

12 years of powder coating experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting required.
Strong attention to detail and focus on quality control.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
Knowledge and capability to operate coating tools and machinery safely and efficiently.
Dependable team-oriented and committed to maintaining safety and productivity.
