Synergie Australia is seeking experienced Chefs for a leading catering provider within the mining industry located at various Queensland mine sites.

The important parts:

Roster: Work a rotating roster 2 : 1
Pay rate: From $47 per hour super paid weekly
Start: Immediate starts available for the right candidates

What you will be required to do:

You will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality meals in a fast-paced environment maintaining high standards while collaborating with a supportive team.
Prepare and cook high-volume meals for breakfast lunch and dinner accommodating dietary requirements
Manage stock and inventory including ordering receiving and rotation while minimising waste
Work closely with kitchenhands utilities and supervisors to ensure smooth meal service
Support broader camp operations as required
Comply with all workplace health safety and PPE protocols

To be successful in the role you will:

Hold a Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or equivalent
Preferably have prior experience working on a mining site
Coal Board Medical and Standard 11 preferred
Must be able to pass a Drug and Alcohol test
Have a current Police Check
Have full Australian working rights
Demonstrate a strong commitment to safety and compliance at all times
