Job Summary

Requirements for the Role:

  • Creative flair with an eye for current food trends update menus regularly  
  • Thrive in a large busy and fast-paced work environment with strong organisational skills time management and attention to detail. Wok/Grill experience is a must
  • Passionate about cooking with a focus on food quality and presentation
  • True passion and experience with Southeast Asian Cuisine
  • Maintain food costs within budget through careful preparation service and storage. Plan order ingredients and food supplies within the budget
  • Ability to create detailed recipe cards
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to train and inspire team members
  • Experience in hatted restaurants is a plus
  • Keen eye for detail and quality control
  • Strong communication skills; able to follow directions and work well within a team

Qualifications :

Skills required

  • At least 5 years of work experience as a sous chef or head chef
  • Formal qualification in Cookery
  • Southeast Asian Cuisine Specialist
