The salary range for this position is dependent upon experience ranging from $125766.40 to $157208.00.
Job Summary
The Manager of Gas Compliance is responsible for ensuring compliance across Operations Engineering Design and Delivery functions within the CT and MA Avangrid Gas Companies. This role involves close collaboration with business units and serves as the primary contact for Regulatory Agencies bridging internal communication with Regulatory Legal and Compliance staff.
Key Responsibilities
Assign and coordinate timely and accurate responses to regulatory requests.
Establish communication channels with stakeholders including Legal Regulatory and Compliance staff.
Develop and deploy proactive self-assessments to identify compliance risks.
Report and advise on proposed changes to Federal or State regulations.
Act as liaison during regulatory audits field visits and inspections.
Lead regular proactive meetings with Regulatory Agencies.
Coordinate updates and reporting to leadership on potential impacts to the Gas Business.
Guide the Compliance team in partnership with Gas Operations Engineering and Design & Delivery teams to identify risk areas impacts mitigation strategies and effective approaches.
Monitor and escalate risks to Senior Leadership.
Oversee the definition documentation and assessment of control effectiveness.
Identify new and changed compliance obligations evaluate their impact and implement necessary changes.
Participate in incident investigations in partnership with business Legal Regulatory and Compliance staff.
Follow up on corrective action plans from the Enhanced QA/QC department.
Establish reports to provide updates to leadership.
Quantify potential risks and provide recommendations for improvements through analysis of technical operational and financial data.
Implement an information governance program that aligns with the organizations risk management strategy.
Utilize regulatory compliance and data analytics tools/software to enhance performance and reporting.

Bachelors degree and 8 years total professional experience or Associates degree and 10 years total experience
Experience with reporting and tracking deadlines when working across different departments
