About the Role
As Chapter Lead Claims you will:
- Lead and develop a high-performing Claims Engineering chapter fostering technical mastery career growth and a culture of continuous learning.
- Guide and mentor software engineers supporting their professional development and capability uplift.
- Drive the adoption of engineering excellence and best practices across the Engineering Practice and Claims Platform ensuring consistency and scalability.
- Collaborate with Product Owners Tribe Leads and Delivery stakeholders to align chapter work with strategic initiatives and organizational goals.
- Promote innovation well-being and continuous improvement within the chapter.
- Maintain strong stakeholder relationships across Technology Risk Cyber Security and Delivery teams.
- Oversee the definition and implementation of standards processes and guardrails for Claims technology.
- Ensure chapter work aligns with compliance security and business objectives.
What Youll Bring
- Proven leadership and coaching skills with experience developing technical professionals and building high-performing teams.
- Ability to set clear expectations drive accountability and create visibility of work and outcomes.
- Experience in driving engineering excellence process improvement and best practice adoption.
- Experience in resource planning performance management and capability development across distributed teams.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills with a track record of influencing alignment across teams.
- Encourage and drive best practices in maintaining build pipelines non-production environments and production releases.
- Knowledge of compliance frameworks and adaptive security controls.
- Understanding of Insurance domain Home & Motor Claims Workers Compensation Commercial Claims and CTP would be highly desirable.
