About the role

Seeking a strategic and experienced procurement leader to join our Corporate Services Group as Associate Director Procurement Strategy and this pivotal role you will set the strategic direction for enterprise-wide category management co-design procurement strategies with senior stakeholders and deliver customer-focused value-for-money outcomes across TAFE NSW. Youll lead a team of procurement professionals strengthen supplier relationships and drive continuous improvement in service delivery innovation and sustainability ensuring alignment with NSW Government policy and TAFE NSWs strategic objectives.

About You

You are a trusted procurement strategist and people leader who drives excellence through collaboration insight and integrity. You thrive in complex environments balancing commercial outcomes with public value.

Youll bring:

  • Extensive experience leading high-performing procurement teams within large or complex organisations.
  • Expertise in government procurement frameworks category management and supplier relationship management.
  • Strong commercial influencing and negotiation skills with the ability to deliver strategic value.
  • A customer-first mindset and passion for continuous improvement and innovation.
  • A relevant degree and professional procurement accreditation (e.g. MCIPS or equivalent).
