About the role
As a Senior Software Engineer in our Customer Engagement Technology team youll contribute to the development and support of Suncorps CRM WebChat and API platforms. Youll work in a dynamic collaborative environment focused on delivering quality software and continuous improvement.
What youll do
Design develop and maintain Java-based applications that support customer engagement platforms.
Analyse system requirements and contribute to scalable technical solutions.
Collaborate with testers and stakeholders to ensure high-quality test-driven development.
Support production systems and troubleshoot issues to maintain high availability.
Mentor team members and contribute to process improvements and agile practices.
Engage with business stakeholders to provide technical advice and identify opportunities for innovation.
What youll bring
5 years of software engineering experience. Technical leadership is a plus.
Experience supporting high availability production systems is highly desirable.
Demonstrated experience with Agile SDLC on projects.
Experience in Cloud Technologies is favourable.
Strong extensive Java and Spring Framework experience in Spring Boot.
Experience in creating and maintaining Jenkins & Gradle scripts.
Experience with OpenShift or AWS/Azure.
