Job Summary
The ideal candidate should have over 10 years of experience in accounting preferably with a background in a Big 4 accounting firm. A CPA qualification is preferred and they should have experience in financial statements reporting under IFRS as well as experience in mergers and acquisitions.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or related field (CPA or equivalent preferred).
8 years of experience in accounting with at least 2 years focused on M&A or technical accounting.
Strong knowledge of US GAAP (or IFRS) and purchase accounting.
Experience with ERP systems (e.g. SAP) and financial reporting tools.
Excellent analytical communication and project management skills.
Ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Big 4 public accounting experience.
Experience in a multinational or publicly traded company.
Familiarity with valuation techniques and financial modeling.
