Position Overview

We are seeking a Social Media & Communications Lead to manage our digital presence and internal/external communications. This role requires someone who can seamlessly manage multiple social media channels coordinate internal communications and handle external press announcements while collaborating effectively with stakeholders across various regions and departments.

Key Responsibilities

Social Media Management

  • Manage and optimize multiple LinkedIn company pages and other social media channels
  • Develop and execute comprehensive social media content calendars aligned with business objectives
  • Create engaging brand-consistent content that drives audience engagement and thought leadership
  • Build and grow relevant high-quality follower base through targeted audience development strategies
  • Monitor social media performance metrics and provide regular reporting and insights
  • Stay current with social media trends platform updates and best practices
  • Respond to comments messages and engage with followers in a timely professional manner

Internal Communications

  • Design and manage internal newsletter content by coordinating with various departments - company news updates and initiatives
  • Develop and maintain internal communication templates and brand guidelines
  • Manage and update brand templates presentation decks and company overview materials
  • Provide brand and communications enablement to teams across different regions
  • Ensure brand consistency across all internal and external communications touchpoints

External Communications

  • Draft review and coordinate press announcements and external communications
  • Work closely with leadership to ensure messaging accuracy
  • Monitor media coverage and industry conversations relevant to the company

AI Integration & Process Optimization

  • Leverage AI tools for content creation scheduling analytics and workflow optimization
  • Continuously explore and implement new technologies to improve efficiency and output quality
  • Maintain knowledge of AI best practices for communications and social media management

Required Qualifications

Experience

  • 7-9 years of experience in social media management digital marketing or communications
  • Proven track record of managing multiple social media accounts simultaneously
  • Experience with B2B social media particularly LinkedIn
  • Background in internal communications or employee engagement initiatives
  • Experience working in cross-functional matrix organizations

Technical Skills

  • Proficiency with social media management platforms
  • Experience with design tools (Canva Adobe Creative Suite or similar)
  • Familiarity with AI tools for content creation and workflow optimization
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in social media analytics and reporting
  • Knowledge of email marketing platforms and newsletter management tools

Communication & Interpersonal Skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building abilities
  • Ability to adapt communication style for different audiences and regions
  • Experience managing competing priorities and tight deadlines
  • Cultural sensitivity and ability to work effectively across different time zones

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Marketing Communications Journalism or related field
  • Knowledge of brand management and corporate communications best practices
  • Experience in B2B technology or professional services industries
