Synergie Australiaare pleased to partner with a new client in the Steel manufacturing industry. Due to continued growth and success they are currently seeking an experienced Production Planner for their office in Glendenning

About the Role

Were seeking an experiencedProduction Plannerto join our team. This key role ensures the efficient planning coordination and monitoring of production processes to deliver outstanding customer service and optimise production capacity.

Youll work closely with Sales Scheduling Despatch Supply and Customer Service teams to manage workflows meet customer timeframes and deliver on our clients promise of quality and reliability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan monitor and coordinate daily production requirements.

  • Confirm delivery schedules and align production with customer needs.

  • Manage and allocate production orders ensuring efficiency and accuracy.

  • Communicate updates delays and solutions across internal teams.

  • Support safety initiatives and uphold company safety standards.

  • Participate in safety audits toolbox meetings and continuous improvement activities.

  • Ensure quality standards and compliance requirements are met.

  • Track production outputs against delivery time and quality goals.

About You

You are a proactive organised planner who thrives in a fast-paced production environment. You communicate clearly think on your feet and collaborate effectively to deliver results.

Youll bring:

  • Minimum 5 years experience in production manufacturing or a similar environment.

  • At least 2 years in a planning or scheduling role.

  • Knowledge of Lean or Competitive Manufacturing principles.

  • Strong computer literacy and communication skills.

  • Solid decision-making reasoning and organisational skills.

  • A customer-focused and team-oriented mindset.

  • Must be able to train for 6 weeks at Glendenning site
