The Opportunity

QVC is looking for an accomplished Category Producer to lead category vision and strategy in partnership with our live production and business teams.

Your Impact

Reporting to the Senior Manager Category Production the Category Producer is responsible for creating engaged reach via Live/Alive storytelling. The Category Producer is responsible for developing and communicating the on-air strategy in regards to key messages key features key stories and best practices for an assigned category. This includes developing the strategy for TSVs category-specific events and brands to drive the on-air business to meet QVCs stickiness and sales plan. You will partner internally and externally with cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive and consistent on-air strategy. You will inspire team members to continually improve performance and development and use influence to achieve productive balance of positive and opportunistic feedback.

What You Bring

Experience: 6-8 years experience in broadcasting multichannel retailing or merchandising environment or equivalent combination of training and experience required.
Education: Bachelors degree in merchandising/marketing/online/broadcasting/ communication/sales or equivalent business experience.
Proficient in Tableau Viewership data footprints Dalet Source History Broadcast PAL Script Review PeRC Buyer/Guest Management Weekly Program Guide One Note TSV Checklist Product and Show Blueprints
