Summary
BHRS Companies a rapidly growing business platform comprising four distinct but related businesses in the construction and real estate space is seeking a highly motivated and experiencedMarketing Manager to drive our internal marketing strategy and execution.
This is a critical high-impact role requiring a highly skilled individual contributor to take ownership of all marketing initiatives translating our complex business needs into clear and compelling content and ensuring consistent high-quality execution across all four brand platforms. This position is a foundational role with the explicit expectation to grow and manage a dedicated marketing team in the future.
Key Responsibilities
1) Strategy Management & Budget
- Develop and Own a unified strategic marketing plan that supports the growth objectives of all four BHRS companies.
- Manage the full marketing lifecycle - from strategy development to execution and performance analysis -eliminating the need for ineffective external agency reliance.
- Budget & Vendor Management -Manage the overall marketing budget for all four companies vetting and directing necessary third-party specialists (ie. for technical web development or complex creative production). Ensure vendors deliver high-quality work on time and within budget minimizing external project management overhead.
- Brand Stewardship -Act as the primary brand steward ensuring all external and internal communications adhere to strict brand imaging voice and quality standards across all BHRS entities.
2) Content Creation & Digital Execution
- Content Production -This role requires a hands-on approach to content creation. The manager must be able to self-perform a significant portion of the content needed including writing engaging blog posts crafting social media copy and developing email marketing campaigns. This is not purely a facilitation or outsourcing role.
- Social Media Management - Develop strategic content calendars and manage posting engagement and performance for all social media platforms (ie. LinkedIn Meta Instagram).
- Search Engine Optimization (SEO) & Blogging -Create and execute a robust content strategy for the company blog focusing on thought leadership industry relevance and optimization for search ranking and traffic.
- Local SEO & Business Profiles -Maintain and optimize all Google Business Profiles and other local listings to maximize local search visibility.
- Paid Advertising - Plan execute and monitor digital ad campaigns (ie. Google Ads social media ads) with a focus on maximizing ROI and lead generation.
- Technical Management -Own the content strategy maintenance and performance optimization of all websites and landing pages. Complex web development and technical coding will be outsourced but the manager directs this work.
- Analytics & Reporting -Track analyze and report on the performance of all marketing campaigns providing actionable insights to leadership.
3) Sales Enablement & Brand Advocacy
- Sales Collateral -Collaborate directly with the sales team to create high-quality impactful sales collateral presentations case studies and informational materials tailored to each businesss niche.
- Brand Ambassador -Act as an official representative for BHRS Companies by attending key industry events trade shows and networking functions.
Qualifications
- Experience -3 years minimum in a fast-paced contributor marketing role. Ideal candidates will have experience adopting an in-house agency mindset where they have successfully managed multiple projects or brands simultaneously. Experience in B2B construction real estate or a multi-brand environment is preferred.
- Expertise -Proven success in developing and executing comprehensive strategies across SEO social media content creation and paid advertising.
- Soft Skills
- Intrapreneurial Drive - Must be a proactive self-motivated individual ready to
build and define the role and function. A high degree of ownership and accountability is essential. - Exceptional Communication -The ability to translate complex niche business services into clear compelling and consistent market messaging.
- Technical Skills -Proficient in marketing analytics tools content management systems (CMS) and graphic design/video tools (or capable of directing third-party creative resources).
- Education - Bachelors degree in Marketing Communications Business or a related field (preferred).
