Work youll do

• Assist clients particularly Japanese multinational companies in navigating complex transfer pricing regulations and optimizing tax efficiency.
• Collaborate with internal teams across service lines and cross-jurisdictional areas to ensure cohesive and high-quality service delivery.
• Actively engage in business development to expand the Japanese client base identifying and pursuing new opportunities.
• Organize and conduct seminars and webinars to build market eminence and establish thought leadership.
• Drive business development activities including client relationship management proposal preparation and participation in client meetings and presentations.
• Utilize strong social and communication skills to effectively engage with clients and other stakeholders both internally and externally.
• Stay updated with the latest developments in transfer pricing laws and regulations and communicate these insights to clients.

Requirement

• Possess minimum a Bachelors Degree in related disciplines such as Accounting/ Economics/ Taxation from recognized universities or any professional qualification in similar disciplines.
• 10 years of relevant experience in transfer pricing including advisory documentation APA and audits.
• Prior experience working with a Big 4 firm or a Japanese multinational company in Malaysia is strongly preferred.
• In-depth knowledge of Malaysias transfer pricing regulations and international standards.
• Native speaker in Japanese and fluency in English is essential.
• Competent in MS-Word MS-Excel and MS-PowerPoint.
• Excellent social and public relations (PR) skills with the ability to engage and manage client relationships effectively.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and grow business opportunities in transfer pricing.
• Strong leadership analytical and project management skills.
